Portraits differ from headshots in that they showcase more of your personality. They can cover a very wide spectrum of style and information. After the headshot these photos start and keep adding to your brand identity. They advance your story.
So, some headshots might appear as portraits but ideally the portrait shows ‘more of you’. Environment, personality, style, action narrative, setting, props, tools, clothing, expression, character all become ingredients to the dish which is you.
