Osteopathy, Pilates, Yoga and Lyndsy.
Lyndsy Mills got in touch for a set of promotional photos which gave me some fun shoots covering the gamut of headshots, portraits, narrative, pilates and yoga. The shoot was to create the main visual content for Lyndsy’s new website and some stock photos for use ongoing, plus content for Instagram.
‘Lyndsy qualified from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy and has been registered with the General Osteopathic Council since 2009 and holds postgraduate certificates in sport and exercise medicine, medical acupuncture, cranial Osteopathy and a diploma in sports massage.’
There’s a lot more to the bio…
‘Prior to her Osteopathic training, Lyndsy trained at the London School of Contemporary Dance and worked as a freelance professional dancer in London for 10 years. Due to her background in dance, she continued her journey with training at the Australian Pilates Physiotherapy Institute and Polestar Pilates and is a certified Pilates instructor in matwork and Pilates studio equipment. Lyndsy has worked in many multi-disciplinary clinics, GP surgeries and Pilates studios in London, Essex and Surrey providing osteopathic consultations and Pilates to rehabilitate and restore healthy movement patterns in her clients.’
Lyndsy is growing her skillset considerably creating a fascination physical and psychologial blend for treatment.
‘Lyndsy believes in a holistic approach to patient care and has an interest in the psychological impact of living with chronic health conditions and maintaining health throughout the lifespan. Lyndsy also has a first-class (Honors) BSc Psychology in Practice degree and is completing a MSc health psychology degree at the University of Surrey to progress onto stage 2 training to become a chartered Health Psychologist. In addition, Lyndsy feels very blessed to be doing the 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga instructor training with mentor Julee Yew-Crijins.
Lyndsy has a special interest in transpersonal and spiritual psychology and is training to be a specialist coach for highly sensitive people.’
So, it’s clear to me that if you’re in need of help, if your body needs someone to help the two of you re-align and get a bit more comfy in everyday life, then calling in Lyndsy has to be a step in the right direction. Scroll to the end and click the link….
